Cancer and palliative care

COURSE OVERVIEW

One day workshop

This one-day workshop is ideal for all health professionals with a role in caring for patients with cancer.   CBT has been shown to enhance quality of life, increase meaningful activity, hope and improve self esteem for people with cancer.

Delegates will develop skills in helping patients learn to cope with their condition and to maximise their quality of life.  This includes promoting wellbeing and resilience in people who have been successful treated for cancer, helping people to cope with physical symptoms such as pain, managing emotional factors and end of life care.
